Your tasks:

• Development and programming of PLC control software (B&R) for laboratory automation in structured text
• Commissioning and testing the systems and devices in-house and sometimes on site
• Error analysis and correction as well as optimization of existing systems
• Design of electrical components
• Collaboration with other departments to implement projects
• Documentation of the work carried out and preparation of technical documents

Your profile:

• Completed studies or training in the field of computer science, automation technology, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in the software development of automation systems is an advantage
• Experience in PLC programming, ideally with B&R systems
• Knowledge of various industrial buses (e.g. TCP/IP, IO-Link, OPC UA)
• Proficiency in software version control systems (GIT)
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Interest in other programming languages and technologies
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Independent and structured approach to work
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
