A high-throughput system for your flexible automated process requirements

Pipetting, dispensing, labeling, capping and decapping of screw caps tubes. As well as sorting, storing  and other customizable solutions. Our X-TubeProcessor®_Ultra supports your flexible process with the processing of up to 1,000 tubes per hour. Different modules can be used to process up to 10 processes in parallel.  The ULTRA system from HTI-Automation are characterized by universal application possibilities, high accuracy and compact design. The X-TubeProcessor_ ULTRA also offers maximum flexibility for screw cap tubes. You can use tubes or cyrovials from Sarstedt, LVL, Micronic, Matrix, FluidX as well as other manufacturers. The Cap Handler and Capping Module

The X-TubeProcessor®_ Ultra automates the capping and decapping of screw cap tubes. We offer solutions for different tube and screw cap sizes and types and brands. A fully automatic feeding of tubes and screw caps over a tube or cap feeder is integral to the system. Both capped and open tubes can be fed into the ULTRA System as bulk material. The cap feeder can optionally be equipped with a color sensor. This sensor checks the color of the caps and sorts out the undesired caps.

 

Dosing, pipetting and dispensing of liquids

The tubes can be filled sequentially with reagents. Depending on your requirements, several peristaltic and/or syringe pumps are available. The syringe pumps are used for pipetting/dispensing smaller filling volumes. Pipetting is very precise, especially with very small quantities of liquid, so that the reproducibility of the results is ensured at all times. The pipette tips can be changed easily. Peristaltic pumps can be provided for dispensing larger filling volumes. In addition, the output vessel (reagent vessel) can be temperature controlled and an optional weighing station for monitoring dispensing volumes can be integrated.

 

Labeling of tubes

The X-TubeProcessor®_Ultra can be extended with a Labeling module for labeling tubes and/or caps. The printing can be done individually or batch mode in the process. The label information is supplied via the operating menu on the processor or via a database connection. Various marking systems such as laser, thermal transfer or inkjet can be used. In addition, pre-printed labels can also be applied.

 

Feeding, sorting & storage

Do you need an entire rack warehouse or is the individual feeding of the tubes important to you? Or even a combination of both? The feeding and final storage of the tubes can take place as bulk material or in individual racks or with a number of up to 50 racks in an automated rack warehouse. Talk to us and together we will define your individual solution.

 

Barcode Identification

Barcodes can be read on racks and tubes and further processed according to the stored requirements.

 

Sterile applications

In addition, we also offer tube handling solutions for sterile applications. The systems are equipped with special hoods, Hepa filters and laminar flow.

 

User interface

The user-friendly and intuitive software runs on an external laptop or PC. Various criteria can be defined for the processing of the tubes and individual modules can be selected or deselected.

To start the system, you can select the process created in an overview or alternatively enter them directly on the user interface.  A menu guides you through the input steps. The selected process can be transmitted to the control software via an interface (SOAP TCP/IP protocol).

Messages, malfunctions or information can be transmitted via an email output.
